There is a town called Watford it is a place in England just outside London and probably one of the picturesque towns I have ever visited. From the name you would expect a town that has is full of historic landmarks. Dotted here and there are also modern scapes that do not look out of place at all.
When going through one of the large shopping centers there was a fashion parade going on with the latest in street where. I noticed an obvious influence from the hip hop and U. S. Music scene. But I guess this sort of street ware has been inspired fashion all over the world.
The day we went to see the local team play football against Crystal Palace it was so foggy I have never seen so much fog before in my life. It was a wonderful sight but the players could not see the ball 10 feet in front of them. The game was chaotic to say the least. It lasted the whole game.
I was amazed they did not stop and re schedule for another time, but they kept on playing. Everyone else must have been use to it as the fog did not play a very important part in the day.
Watford has a beautiful town squares with partly cobble stoned and modern paved pathways. Statues line one side of the street and down the center there are ponds and fountains. Snow fell when we were there and all looked so quaint and beautiful. Like a picture postcard. They also have an electric train system that is absolutely amazingly fast and reliable.
There is a main street called High street packed full of historical monuments and lined with stores of every kind they have a bike way that goes from one end to the other which we road on. And of course no town can escape the pigeon they seem to have an international passport. It was a wonderful experience and one day I would like to visit in the summer.
